Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity or infrastructure defense experience in remote-first settings.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, or CIS.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR/IDS/IPS and firewalls.
• Understanding of data encryption, zero trust concepts.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and automation tooling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a secure architecture across hybrid systems to prevent external threats.
• Monitor network environments for anomalies and respond swiftly to threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses as a remote information security specialist.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure scalable security frameworks.
• Develop playbooks for incident response and disaster recovery aligned with distributed system protocols.
• Document cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, and guidelines relevant to online infrastructure security.
• Educate and empower colleagues by leading awareness sessions and training content.
