Job summary

Vector Security is seeking a Customer Support Representative to answer inbound calls and electronic requests, providing information and troubleshooting for customers' systems. You will maintain a positive, professional attitude and support the Data Center as needed to ensure timely customer support.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, with a schedule Wednesday through Saturday, 8am–7pm EST, and options for US remote work from Gainesville, VA area.

• Talking to customers on the phone, provide resolutions efficiently.
• Prioritize work and projects versus maintaining phone coverage.
• Continually amass knowledge of different programs and systems to provide efficient customer service.
• Handle difficult customer calls while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Have a pleasant and professional demeanor while handling customer calls.
• Evaluating unique customer service requests for optimal resolution.
• Support others on the team, collaborate for knowledge and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Handling Inbound Customer Service & Technician Overflow Calls: answer phones, gather info, deliver solutions, manage emergency events, provide reports from systems.
• Programming Projects: complete a minimum of 10 Code Change requests per shift and analyze delegated programming tasks.
