Job summary

Balchem is seeking a Supervisor to oversee the Customer Service team supporting specific lines of business. You will ensure performance, resolve inquiries, and coordinate with operations, sales, and logistics to ship orders efficiently.

The role emphasizes leadership, change management, and cross-functional communication across Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, R&D and QA. A related bachelor's degree and a track record in customer service management are expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent business management skills and show leadership ability.
• Must communicate at all levels and lead change.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline; 5-7 years in the food industry preferred; proven track record in sales or customer service management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a team of customer service personnel to deliver high-quality service.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring issues and implementing timely actions.
• Communicate with customers to identify needs and coordinate with internal resources for rapid response.
• Direct responsibility for key accounts and maintain customer service processes.
• Create and maintain customer account records in Microsoft D365.
• Manage daily functions and promote teamwork and productivity.
