Join Our Team as a Remote Customer Service Representative!

Compensation : $18.00 per hour

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Paid Training : 5-6 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Location : Equipment pickup will be from our office in Des Moines, IA.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from Iowa Medicaid Program recipients and affiliates.
  • Provide personalized telephone support to applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees.
  • Accurately document enrollment requests and status changes.
  • Input application and enrollment data into our web-based system for customers applying over the phone.
  • Maintain proficiency in Iowa Family Care rules and guidelines to provide clear and accurate information.

Qualifications :

  • Basic knowledge of call center environments and customer service roles.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity for constructive feedback.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with diverse individuals.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Background check required.
  • Must live within an hour’s drive of Des Moines, IA.

The Ideal Candidate will :

  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Display knowledge and empathy while working with clients.
  • Possess excellent typing, grammar, and computer navigation skills.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service and phone etiquette abilities.
  • Have reliable internet access.
