Job summary

Food Impact Partners seeks a visionary technical leader to build an AI-native stack for observing and understanding animal welfare in real production poultry settings. This full-time remote role includes travel within the United States and leading the design of monitoring, data capture, and system integration.

You will own the technology strategy, oversee hardware that withstands barn conditions, and build a cohesive platform that delivers actionable, reusable data across trials.

Qualifications

• Broad working knowledge across AI/ML, computer vision, sensing, data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI-native monitoring and data infrastructure strategy for trials.
• Make build/buy/partner decisions across the tech stack and integrate components.
• Collaborate with the Program Team to test external technologies (robotics, CV, vaccines, feed additives).
• Build the data platform and standards for clean, comparable trial results.
• Build and lead the technical team, including initial engineering hires and partnerships.
