Job summary

Tutor Me Education offers flexible, fully remote 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students nationwide. As an instructor, you’ll build your schedule, set your hourly rate, and engage learners across various career pathways.

We’re seeking experienced educators who can design customized lesson plans, adapt in real time, and track student progress while communicating with families and coordinators. A Bachelor’s degree and a strong virtual teaching background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience working with students with education needs.
• Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
• Strong virtual instruction skills – comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student’s career pathway, technical skill level, and unique learning profile.
• Create structured lesson plans that align with career cluster standards, workforce readiness goals, and preparation for relevant industry certifications or technical credentials.
• Adapt instruction in real time based on student engagement, project-based milestones, and practical troubleshooting, bringing real-world industry context into the virtual classroom.
• Track student progress and communicate effectively with families, schools, or vocational program coordinators regarding skill mastery, portfolio development, and career readiness.
