Job summary

Optimum is building the world’s first data acceleration network for blockchain edge infrastructure. We seek someone with direct experience in crypto trading markets to collaborate with Product and Data to identify monetizable value for traders and test hypotheses with the right participants.

You will build relationships with traders, lead customer discovery, and work across Product, Data, and BD to develop signals and new offerings for trading firms.

Qualifications

Direct professional experience in crypto trading or market-structure roles.
Strong ability to translate trader needs into product insights.
A track record of quantitative analysis and market sizing.

Responsibilities

Understand crypto trading firms' workflows and latency needs.
Build relationships with traders and trading firms.
Lead customer discovery and turn feedback into product insights.
Advocate trader perspectives to product and engineering teams.
Conduct market research, including sizing, competition, and pricing potential.
Work with data to quantify value of product hypotheses.
Create lightweight analyses and simulations to answer economics questions.
Prioritize opportunities using actual market evidence.
