Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine integrated crop protection strategies, considering pest, disease, and weed management.
• Analyze crop health data, field reports, and environmental conditions to identify potential threats and recommend preventative measures.
• Advise clients on the appropriate use of chemical, biological, and cultural control methods.
• Monitor agricultural pest and disease outbreaks, providing timely and relevant information to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and recommend new crop protection technologies, products, and practices.
• Collaborate with research teams on field trials and product efficacy studies.
• Provide technical support and training to farmers and field staff on best practices in crop protection.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements related to crop protection products.
• Contribute to the development of digital tools and platforms for crop monitoring and decision support.
• Maintain detailed records of strategies implemented, outcomes, and recommendations.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and partners through regular virtual communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Protection, or a related agricultural discipline.
• A Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in crop protection, agronomy, or a related field, with a strong understanding of pest and disease management in various crops.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex agricultural data.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable delivering information remotely via video conferencing.
• Proficiency in using farm management software, data analysis tools, and digital communication platforms.
