Job summary

NTT DATA Services seeks a Cribl Application Support Engineer with remote-friendly arrangements to join the Frisco, TX team. You will provide L2/L3 production support for Cribl Stream, monitor leader/worker nodes, troubleshoot data-flow issues, and coordinate with infrastructure to resolve incidents.

Responsibilities include configuring Cribl sources/destinations/routes, handling RCA, and supporting deployments, patching, and maintenance. Strong scripting and log-analysis skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Cribl administration, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• 5+ years Cribl Leader/Worker architecture, monitoring and maintenance.
• 5+ years Log ingestion, routing, filtering, and troubleshooting with Cribl.
• 5+ years Shell scripting for monitoring and automation.
• 5+ years Python scripting for support automation.
• 5+ years Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, ports, firewalls) and security integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Cribl Stream platform.
• Monitor Cribl Leader/Worker nodes and platform health.
• Troubleshoot Cribl application/service failures and data flow issues.
• Investigate logs not received, delayed, or incorrectly routed.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cribl Sources, Destinations, Routes and Pipelines.
• Perform service restarts, config changes, deployments, and health checks.
• Investigate incidents using Cribl/OS logs and dashboards.
• Root Cause Analysis for recurring incidents.
• Support Cribl installation, patching, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams for resolution.
