Job summary

Figure in the United States is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to transform analytics and alternative data into risk-aware strategies for HELOC and secured lending portfolios. You will guide underwriting decisions and collaborate across teams to safeguard portfolio health while enabling growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor/Master’s degree with a quantitative background.
5+ years in credit risk management or data science within consumer lending.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business judgment.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python/R.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker.

Responsibilities

Refine underwriting strategies using analytics to optimize risk decisions across lending products.
Model credit expansion, identify new customer segments, optimize funnel.
Analyze data to support fraud controls and risk management.
Develop valuation models and advise on yield projections.
Design A/B tests with product/engineering/data science.
Track and validate performance of credit and fraud rule changes.
Monitor portfolio risks for new product launches.
Present underwriting methodology to investors and support due diligence.
Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
Conduct ad hoc quantitative analyses for broader objectives.
