Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance and patient payments to determine causes of credit balances.
• Post refunds as needed and ensure account accuracy.
• Utilize software and reporting to identify credit balances and actions for refunds.
• Identify overpayments and request refunds per hospital policies.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security compliance.
