SouthState Bank is seeking a Correspondent Credit Analyst Intern to support the ARC team and Commercial Loan Portfolio Management. You will work with Credit Analysts and Sales Officers, preparing client proposals and rate conversion agreements, while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The internship emphasizes analytical rigor, attention to detail, and strong written/oral communication. Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in business, finance, or accounting; rising juniors or seniors preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Must be enrolled and obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting. Preference is given to rising seniors and juniors.
• Experience: One to three years related experience and/or training
• Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Business is recommended to have a good understanding of financial statements and to make industry evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Support sales team by providing client proposals
• Performs support for sales for the ARC program.
• Ensures that all work prepared is timely and turned around within department guidelines and with the utmost accuracy.
• Helps prepare Rate Conversion Agreements for ARC deals that move to closing
