Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to support its centralized verification office in a fully remote role. The CS will handle primary source verification, credentialing applications, and reporting while collaborating with hospitals and providers.

Ideal candidates have HIPAA knowledge, strong communication, and experience with credentialing software. Position is Mon-Fri with a clear hourly pay range and comprehensive benefits; remote work is available with Teams video

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication is essential.
• Intermediate experience with Word, Excel, Adobe and OneNote.
• Work with a variety of health care professionals with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of TJC, NCQA standards and state/federal guidelines.
• High School graduation; knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all aspects of Primary Source Verification with accuracy.
• Review provider information in credentialing software for accuracy.
• Directly communicate with sources for all applications.
• Process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
• Maintain reports of credentialing activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
