Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication with team.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Adobe and OneNote; comfortable with database software.
• Ability to work with health care professionals, under minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of TJC, NCQA standards and state/federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Primary Source Verification with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Review provider information in credentialing software with source verification.
• Process initial and re-credentialing applications and maintain reports.
• Ensure records comply with laws, regs, procedures and policies.
• Stay current on credentialing guidelines and ready for review by committees.
• Communicate with system-wide medical staff services professionals and practitioners.
• Notify CVO leaders of problems or concerns.
• Incorporate accreditation and regulatory standards into activities.
• Maintain provider records and expirable items.
