Job summary

Catalyst Consulting in Austin, TX is seeking a Credentialing Maintenance Coordinator to support the maintenance team and keep provider credentials, payer records, and enrollment information current.

You will manage ongoing credentialing for an assigned provider portfolio, ensuring renewals, attestations, recredentialing, and revalidations stay on schedule through proactive follow-up and clear communication.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in provider credentialing, payer enrollment, or credentialing maintenance.
• Hands-on experience maintaining CAQH profiles and working with commercial payer credentialing processes.
• Knowledge of provider licensure, malpractice documentation, and Medicare and Medicaid revalidation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfort using credentialing systems and payer portals.

Responsibilities

• Track license, DEA, state registrations, and malpractice expiration dates; notify providers and obtain updates.
• Maintain and attest CAQH profiles with licensure, malpractice, demographics, and docs.
• Keep credentialing files and state application information accurate and organized.
• Complete recredentialing documentation and follow submissions through completion.
• Update health plan provider directories with demographics, locations, and affiliations.
• Resolve credentialing-related network and authorization issues; document follow-up and escalate.
• Monitor Medicare and Medicaid revalidation dates and submit follow-ups.
• Support contracting opportunities by collecting contract language and fee schedules.
• Maintain tracking records, deadlines, and status updates.
