Job summary

Workiva is seeking a student intern to support our marketing and communications teams. This remote internship offers exposure to video production, editing, and content creation across product stories and events.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders to define project needs, produce high-quality content using industry tools, assist with live events, and learn best practices in post-production while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program in a related field.
• Experience with digital technology and video editing software packages.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong propensity for action and continuous improvement.
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with multi-tasking under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Determine project needs and specifications with stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality content using videography, photography, and production software.
• Set up, record and edit audio for professional quality.
• Edit motion video footage, effects, sound, and color in post-production.
• Consult with stakeholders through pre-, production and post-production.
• Assist with live events like podcasts, webinars, and off-site events.
• Maintain and monitor equipment and systems for presentations and conferencing.
• Explore new editing technologies to maximize efficiency.
