Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a CRA II with Oncology/Ophthalmology focus for a home-based role in the Midwestern region. The position involves remote monitoring, site initiation, and ensuring regulatory compliance across trials. You will work with cross-functional teams to protect data integrity and patient safety.

The role requires up to 75% travel, strong communication skills, and familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines. A bachelor’s degree or RN and proficiency in standard software are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Must demonstrate good computer skills and be able to embrace new technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage required travel of up to 75% on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform site qualification, site initiation, interim monitoring, site management activities and close-out visits (on-site or remotely) ensuring regulatory, ICH‑GCP and/or GPP and protocol compliance.
• Verify informed consent process and protect subject confidentiality; assess factors affecting safety and data integrity.
• Conduct source document review and data verification; resolve queries; support IP inventory and labeling per protocol.
