Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for a fully remote position with travel in the United States. The CRA will monitor cardiovascular, CNS, diabetes, and GLP-1 trials, ensuring GCP/ICH compliance and data integrity.

You will collaborate with sites to drive recruitment, provide protocol training, manage TMF/ISF, and track study metrics with emphasis on patient safety and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of on-site clinical monitoring experience.
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH, FDA regulations across therapeutic areas.
• Ability to independently manage investigative sites and ensure data quality and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits for Cardiovascular, CNS, Diabetes, and GLP-1 trials, ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH, protocol requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Partner with investigative sites to drive patient recruitment, enrollment, and retention strategies that support study timelines and performance goals.
• Provide protocol-specific training and ongoing support to site personnel, maintain effective communication, and proactively resolving study-related issues and risks.
• Monitor site performance, study conduct, and protocol compliance, identifying quality concerns, and implementing corrective actions to ensure data integrity and patient safety.
• Track critical study metrics, including regulatory submissions, site activation, enrollment progress, and data management activities to support successful trial execution.
• Maintain TMF and ISF documentation, support site financial activities and invoice reconciliation, and collaborate with study teams to ensure operational excellence throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
