Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Coverage Analyst to support startup and coverage analysis for site clients. You will read trial protocols, map required tests and procedures, and determine CPT/HCPCS coding implications for billing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 1 year of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to interpret Medicare policies. This remote role offers growth within One WCG and a collaborative, performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field. Significant work experience may substitute.
• Ability to work in a performance-driven environment with a proactive, results-driven approach.
• At least 1 year of professional experience.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Understand clinical terms and descriptors.
• Strong investigative skills to read complex documents and document findings.
• Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Excel.
• Familiarity with the clinical trial start-up process (preferred).
• Experience interpreting protocols for visit schedules and treatment plans (preferred).
• Familiarity with research insurance billing and coverage guidelines (preferred).
• Experience as a clinical research coordinator, preferably in oncology or medical device therapeutic area (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical trial coverage analysis and map required tests and procedures.
• Identify CPT/HCPCS codes using internal resources.
• Interpret Medicare policies and other guidelines to make billing determinations.
• Review work completed by others as part of QA.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
