Job summary

WCG is seeking a Coverage Analyst to support efficient site start-up by performing coverage analysis tasks. You will read clinical trial protocols, develop activity grids, and determine necessary tests and procedures.

This critical role ensures accurate billing determinations for trials. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to interpret clinical terms and guidelines in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field; significant work experience may substitute.
At least 1 year of professional experience in a related role.
Ability to read and apply clinical terms and descriptors.
Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
Strong communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Excel.

Responsibilities

Develop coverage analysis for clinical trials and start-up processes.
Read trial protocols and create activity grids to identify tests, procedures, and assessments.
Interpret Medicare policies and guidelines to make billing determinations for trials.
Use internal software to identify CPT/HCPCS codes for items in the activity grid.
Review work and ensure quality through internal checks.
Attend to other duties as assigned; punctuality is essential.
