Job summary

ETS-Lindgren is seeking a Cost Estimator III to compute and compile data to estimate all project costs, including in-house manufacturing, project support, on-site installation, and subcontract costs. You will use a proprietary Excel-based workbook and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure complete, low-risk solutions.

The role includes post-sale estimating duties, budgeting, and updating CSI9 ERP entries, plus supporting project managers through life cycles and change orders.

Qualifications

• Four years estimating experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking.
• Experience with ERP databases, CSI preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and compile data to forecast all project costs including in-house manufacturing, project support, on-site installation, purchased items and subcontract costs using a proprietary Excel-based workbook.
• Review opportunity, sales and contract documents and coordinate with in-house departments and external resources to ensure complete solutions and minimized risk.
• Perform post-sale estimating duties, finalize project budget, list resources, revenue milestones and enter data into ERP CSI9 database.
• Support project managers through project life cycle, including changes and budget/revenue adjustments in CSI9.
• Create and manage reports communicating expected demand from sales to manufacturing for planning purposes.
