Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to own cost accounting practices that support accurate manufacturing cost visibility, inventory valuation, and financial control across the enterprise. The manager will partner with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT to strengthen processes and deliver actionable insights into operational performance.

This position also plays a key role in supporting an ERP transition and building scalable cost accounting methods for future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, especially in manufacturing cost accounting.
• Strong costing, variances, and inventory valuation knowledge.
• Experience developing or standardizing cost accounting processes.
• Solid GAAP and financial controls understanding.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to build partnerships across departments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cost accounting policies and procedures.
• Lead costing activities, including labor and overhead rate setting.
• Monitor cost and inventory results, identifying trends and issues.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for cost accounting systems and processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT to enhance processes.
• Provide analysis and insights into manufacturing costs and operational performance.
• Develop scalable cost accounting practices for future ERP transitions.
