Job summary

Grüns is hiring its second in-house lawyer to own day-to-day legal work, negotiate directly with counterparties, and collaborate across Marketing, Retail, Ops, People, and Customer Experience. You’ll work remotely with Unilever’s legal teams and Wellbeing group to scale a fast-growing consumer brand.

This role offers substantial ownership from day one, no billable-hour pressure, and a chance to shape systems, templates, and processes for a high-trust, remote-friendly legal function.

Qualifications

• JD required; active bar license in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Experience negotiating commercial contracts start to finish across vendor, SaaS, marketing, and/or retailer agreements.
• Familiarity with IP, privacy, and advertising law in a consumer products context.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial contract review end to end: intake, redlines, negotiation, and execution across vendor, marketing, and retailer agreements.
• Manage litigation holds, discovery coordination, and budget tracking with outside counsel.
• Lead advertising enforcement and brand protection efforts, including cease-and-desist drafting and responses.
