Job summary

Koppers Inc. seeks a student intern in Pittsburgh to assist with internal and external communications, content creation, and digital media management. You will draft and edit posts, maintain the internal blog, design content for boards, and help grow the company’s presence on Facebook and LinkedIn while gaining hands-on PR experience.

This in-person internship requires 25-30 hours weekly, with potential to join a summer internship program and gain cross-department exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in PR/Marketing/Communications or related field.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Comfort initiating outreach with employees at all levels.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Canva/Adobe suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to writing, editing and proofing internal + external employee communications.
• Help maintain internal corporate blog with weekly intranet updates.
