Job summary

C4 Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled Core Network Engineer with deep Layer 3 expertise to design, implement, operate, and optimize large-scale ISP core networks. This role requires strong hands‑on proficiency with Juniper, Arista, and Nokia platforms, advanced IP/MPLS routing knowledge, and solid Linux skills for automation, tooling, and systems integration.

You will serve as a Tier-3 escalation point and contribute to architecture and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in core/service-provider environments.
• Experience with multi-vendor platforms: Juniper, Arista, Nokia.
• Strong Linux skills and scripting for automation.
• Automation experience with Ansible and Python for network tasks.
• Expertise in BGP policy design, MPLS, L3VPN, and traffic engineering.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Layer 3 core networks for ISP environments.
• Configure and optimize BGP, MPLS, L3VPN, and TE policies.
• Develop and implement automation tooling with Ansible and Python.
• Manage and troubleshoot multi-vendor fabrics (Juniper/Arista/Nokia).
• Provide Tier-3 escalation support and root-cause analysis.
• Create network diagrams, runbooks, and architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with client teams.
