Job summary
Blossom in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Project Manager to lead full lifecycle core banking system conversions for credit unions. You will coordinate with CEOs, COOs, IT Directors, and Operations leads to ensure on-time, on-scope implementations including data migration, GL configuration, and third-party interface connectivity.
You will work with internal data conversion engineers and core vendors to migrate member, account, and loan data, oversee UAT and parallel processing, and guide policy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IS, CS, Finance or related field.
- 3+ years directing core banking conversions at fintech/CUSO/vendor.
- Hands-on with major core platforms: Symitar/Episys, Corelation KS, Fiserv DNA.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end core conversion projects from discovery to post-go-live.
- Communicate with CEOs, COOs, IT Directors and Ops leads throughout.
- Develop plans for data conversion timelines, GL balancing and cutover.
- Coordinate third-party interfaces to core systems and validate readiness.
- Ensure accurate data migration of members, accounts, loans, and GL.
- Manage UAT, parallel processing, and data balancing activities.
- Guide policy mapping and procedure updates for the new core.
- Produce biweekly status reports and executive dashboards.
