Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant/Associate Copywriter for its Abercrombie Kids team. This remote role focuses on creating engaging copy for weekly emails, site content, paid media, and podcast scripts with a concise, fashion-forward voice.

You will collaborate with design, strategy and merchandising to translate customer insights into on-brand messaging while ensuring accuracy and legal compliance. A passion for fashion and strong editing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing or Advertising/Copywriting (or related experience).
• 1+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in retail.
• Near-perfect editing and grammar skills and ability to write succinct, on-brand copy.

Responsibilities

• Write weekly marketing emails for Abercrombie Kids and baby/toddler lines.
• Create consistent editorial copy with brand voice across touchpoints.
• Balance editorial copy with technical product copy and promo language.
• Collaborate with seasonal team to ensure campaign messaging follows through.
• Ensure legal compliance of product claims in copy and meet customer expectations.
• Write longer-form podcase, paid media, and video scripts.
• Develop unique on-product marketing names for kids.
