Job summary

UMMA Health is seeking a Full Time Controller in Huntington Park, CA. The role oversees the accounting function, month-end, cash management, and regulatory compliance to support mission-driven healthcare services.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audits, payroll oversight, and collaboration with leadership. Competitive benefits and a compensation plan are offered consistent with internal equity.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with supervisory exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, GL software, and healthcare reimbursement structures is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely, accurate financial reporting aligned to GAAP and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).
• Oversee daily accounting department operations including month-end close.
• Oversee cash management activities and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with Federal grant requirements, Medicaid/Medicare billing and cost reporting.
