Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking experienced Control Systems Engineers to support a project focused on real-world control systems and AI training. The role involves designing, modeling, implementing, and validating controllers for physical systems.

You will design and tune PID and advanced controllers such as LQR, MPC, and Kalman filters, develop plant models, and deploy controllers on real hardware using Python and control libraries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Control, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace.
• 5+ years hands-on controller design experience.
• Proven experience deploying controllers on real physical systems.
• Strong knowledge of plant modeling, system identification, and control theory.
• Proficiency in Python and control-system development.
• Experience with PID and at least one modern method such as LQR, MPC, or Kalman filtering.
• Strong technical communication skills.
• Experience with CasADi, do-mpc, Modelica, ROS, embedded C/C++, or nonlinear/robust control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and tune PID and advanced controllers such as LQR, MPC, and Kalman filters.
• Develop and validate plant models using first-principles and empirical data.
• Implement and test control algorithms using Python and relevant control libraries.
• Deploy and validate controllers on real-world hardware.
• Analyze system performance and optimize control strategies.
