Job summary

Cogent Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support the Legal team with contract lifecycle operations, negotiations, and administration. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners, reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager.

This primarily remote position requires on-site attendance for monthly team meetings. Candidates should have 3–5 years in contracts administration, proficiency with Agiloft CLM, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Agiloft CLM platform.
• Minimum 3–5 years of contracts administration or legal-related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, draft, and negotiate assigned contracts (CDAs/NDAs, SOWs, Task Orders, and Order Forms).
• Coordinate acceptance and signature processes with signatories.
• Maintain contract records in the CLM platform.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contract inquiries and status updates.
• Assist with onboarding of personnel to contracting SOPs and platforms, including training.
• Support development and maintenance of contracts guidance documents.
• Participate in internal strategic initiatives and projects; may support other tasks.
