Job summary

National Forest Foundation (NFF) seeks a Contracts and Procurement Coordinator to coordinate solicitations and contracting for field projects across forest conservation, wildfire resilience, restoration, and recreation infrastructure. The role reports to the Contracts and Procurement Attorney, ensuring compliance with NFF policies and 2 CFR 200.

You will work with field staff to develop sourcing strategies, draft solicitations, review contracts, and manage signature workflows while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification; at least three years in contract administration, compliance, procurement, or related fields.
• Paralegal certificate or legal contract experience a plus.
• Experience with forestry, construction, recreation infrastructure, or habitat improvement projects a plus.
• Knowledge of 2 CFR 200, FAR, or related regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies for equipment and services and draft solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) ensuring compliance.
• Review new contracts and amendments for terms and compliance.
• Draft contract revisions and lead negotiations with field staff.
• Engage stakeholders around sourcing and contract matters requiring review and consideration.
• Update and maintain contract and solicitation templates with the procurement team.
• Serve as mentor and liaison to field staff through the procurement process.
