Job summary

Data Ideology, LLC is seeking a Technical Business Analyst on a contract basis to bridge data platform and emerging technology workstreams. You will facilitate discovery, translate stakeholder requirements into actionable artifacts, and ensure architectural decisions are reflected across teams.

The role emphasizes producing structured documentation, managing scope, and coordinating with architects and data leads to readiness for client handoff. Remote work from home is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or requirements analyst on data, analytics, or technology platform engagements.
• Facilitate structured discovery workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Produce clear, usable requirements artifacts from sessions and translate into specifications.
• Experience with AWS data platform engagements is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with client engineering and product leadership across data platform and tech workstreams.
• Document data types, interfaces, processing frequencies, and dependencies.
• Manage scope and MVP boundaries with formal change controls.
• Maintain glossaries, metadata standards, and data governance artifacts.
• Bridge multiple workstreams ensuring data contracts and architecture decisions are aligned.
