Job summary

Tycko & Zavareei LLP seeks a diligent Contract Attorney to assist with large-scale electronic document review in a fast-growing plaintiffs-side practice. The ideal candidate will analyze complex corporate documents and internal communications to identify evidence supporting consumer protection and privacy class actions, while applying privilege and relevance reviews under tight deadlines.

This role is remote and independent contractor, lasting 2–4 months with potential extension, 35–40 hours

Qualifications

• Active JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2-3 years of document review experience, preferably within civil litigation or plaintiffs-side class actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency with major e-discovery review platforms (Relativity, Logikcull, Everlaw).
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) and pass a brief conflict check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first- and second-level privilege, relevance, and confidentiality reviews of electronic documents.
• Apply complex issue coding and tagging protocols accurately under tight deadlines.
• Identify “hot” documents and draft concise summaries for senior litigation associates and partners.
• Escalate potential privilege issues or critical evidentiary findings immediately.
• Participate in periodic team meetings regarding review strategies and quality control metrics.
