Job summary

Slalom is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design, deploy, and operate production-grade machine learning and Generative AI solutions in a highly regulated enterprise environment. This role focuses on converting validated models into scalable, governed systems that drive critical business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of hands-on ML engineering/MLOps experience in production.
• Strong Python and ML framework experience (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade ML and Generative AI solutions.
• Own end-to-end ML production lifecycle, incl. data ingestion, feature engineering, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and optimize MLOps pipelines using Azure Databricks, MLflow, Unity Catalog, and CI/CD processes.
• Implement scalable model-serving architectures including real-time APIs and batch inference pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure robust data pipelines and governance.
• Establish best practices for model versioning, retraining, drift detection, and observability.
