Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Bar admission (active/inactive).
• 3+ years of U.S. legal practice in contract law, commercial transactions, or commercial litigation.
• Strong reasoning with contracts, UCC, and commercial agreements.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to U.S. contract law hypotheticals, including formation issues, breach analysis, UCC Article 2 disputes, and damages calculations.
• Apply a structured legal rubric to assess issue spotting, accuracy of common law and UCC principles, and contract interpretation.
• Identify gaps in AI reasoning around consideration, conditions, anticipatory repudiation, liquidated damages, and third-party beneficiary rights.
• Provide detailed annotations and written feedback to refine AI models.
• Collaborate with researchers and project managers to align evaluation standards and project goals.
