Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Contract Specialist to draft and negotiate commercial agreements for our remote projects, including MSAs, leases, IP licensing, and marketing contracts. You will ensure documents meet legal standards and deliver templates suitable for AI training datasets.

The role emphasizes autonomy, precision, and clear written communication across teams. The ideal candidate is a practicing or recently qualified commercial attorney with experience in drafting and negotiating

Qualifications

• Practicing or recently qualified commercial attorney with exposure to contract drafting and negotiation.
• Working knowledge of standard commercial agreements, including MSAs, lease agreements, IP and marketing contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and accuracy in contractual language.
• Demonstrated ability to create or adapt legal documents for practical, real-world scenarios.
• Experience with remote collaboration and delivering assignments autonomously.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure agreements comply with relevant laws and best practices.
• Interest or background in legal operations, technology, or AI-enabled platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and provide high-quality templates, samples, and annotated examples of MSAs.
• Draft and review Lease Agreements.
• Draft IP Licensing, Marketing, and Licensing Agreements.
• Ensure agreements reflect current legal standards and best practices.
• Submit well-structured documents contributing to AI training datasets.
• Communicate promptly and professionally to clarify requirements.
