Job summary

Pure App is seeking an analytical Content Moderator to safeguard our dating platform and enforce Trust & Safety policies. You will review profiles, photos, and ad texts to ensure guideline compliance, while handling ban appeals and policy clarifications in a fast-paced environment.

You will proactively detect fake accounts and scams, use reverse image search and metadata tools, and collaborate with a remote team to refine platform defenses.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of moderation and customer support experience, preferably in dating apps, text/profile moderation, or fraud analysis.
• Experience using ticketing systems to answer user inquiries and investigate multi-accounting.
• Familiarity with reverse image search tools and basic metadata tools to detect stolen images or catfishing.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and MS Office.
• Ability to work with async communication and tracking tools like Slack, Notion, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Moderate profiles, content, and ad text per Community Guidelines and T&S policies.
• Handle user support tickets, ban appeals, and policy clarifications with careful triage and investigation.
• Identify bad actors, multi-accounting networks, and evolving scams using available tools and analytics.
• Escalate high-risk safety concerns and communicate issues to the team.
• Document patterns, share findings, and support ongoing defense improvements.
