Job summary

Siege Media is a fully remote content agency hiring a Content Editor in the United States. The role focuses on finalizing client copy for strategy and quality, ensuring alignment with brand voice, tone, and SEO best practices. You will coach writers, manage multiple deadlines, and support AI editing tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in content editing, digital publishing, journalism, content marketing or PR.
• Extreme attention to detail with AP style proficiency.
• Experience editing long-form guides, thought leadership content and PR material.
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimization.
• Ability to adapt tone and structure to audience and client needs.
• Strong project management and collaboration skills in a remote agency setting.

Responsibilities

• Edit client copy for strategy and quality from a final approval standpoint.
• Ensure copy aligns with client strategy, brand voice and tone.
• Conduct QA on structure, flow and content effectiveness.
• Implement on-page SEO and internal linking best practices.
• Fact-check names, statistics and dates with proper sourcing.
• Provide constructive editorial coaching to writers and collaborate with managers.
