Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote Content internship across multiple focus areas, including strategy, contracts, programming, and development. You will analyze data, build dashboards, and support cross-functional initiatives while gaining exposure to live channels, programming decisions, and automation efforts.

Eligible candidates must have U.S. work authorization, and compensation ranges from $20 to $28 per hour depending on level.

Qualifications

• Open to all majors; Preferred: Media & Entertainment, Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Leadership tracks
• A passion for the entertainment industry (business or tech)
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Experience working in cross-functional environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a desire to learn and grow
• Nice to have: Familiarity with AI LLMs for research/benchmarking/analysis

Responsibilities

• Support Content Strategy & Development by analyzing data, benchmarking, and research
• Build dashboards and deliver presentations
• Assist with contracts & compliance data audits and reports
• Support Content & Programming analytics and project management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams launching live channels and improving processes
• Explore new functionalities for content engagement and discovery
