The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in English or related field, strong editing and proofreading skills, and a knack for clear, engaging writing in a fast-paced startup environment. Remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, advertising, PR, marketing, or a related field.
• High relevant experience in content editing, copy editing, or a related role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong command of English.
• Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and AP or Chicago style guidelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Creative thinking and passion for crafting engaging content.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread content across website copy, blog posts, social media, emails, and marketing materials to ensure accuracy and brand voice.
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing team to refine messaging and readability.
• Review content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax accuracy.
• Ensure consistent tone, style, and messaging across all channels.
• Provide constructive feedback to help writers improve and engage audiences.
