Job summary

Alpha USA is seeking a Content & Communications Manager to own editorial strategy, production, and channel ownership for brand storytelling and external communications. You will write briefs, then execute them, ensuring Alpha's voice is clear, compelling, and aligned with mission-driven goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in content strategy, communications, or brand storytelling in a nonprofit or mission-driven org
• Exceptional writer across formats with consistent brand voice
• Experience building or stewarding a content strategy, not just executing one
• Comfort with photo and video concepts; can brief freelancers well
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot or similar)
• Experience collaborating across teams to translate ministry goals into marketing strategy

Responsibilities

• Own and manage editorial calendar across channels (blog, email, social, long-form)
• Set content strategy for campaigns and audiences with an audience-first approach
• Develop and maintain Alpha USA's brand voice across all content
• Commission, brief, and edit content from team members, freelancers, and partners
