Essential Job Functions
Project Management - Has ownership of book of business determined by Client impact by acting as the project manager to drive the restitution to successful closure so validation require ments are met. Partners with Sr. Manager on decisions, influencing partners and management of Client issues including: file errors, system break issues, technology testing, research, remediation and communication directly with Client. Uses strategic acumen to make recommendations for restitutions and manages through the execution and implementation. Demonstrates the ability to work independently, remain organized, and prioritize work in order to work on multiple projects over the same time period with accuracy and attention to detail .
Strategy - Makes recommendations for decisions related to profit/loss of a business unit or issue specific to effective outcomes of financial remediation where best course of action is derived to make customers whole while considering best solution for the business. Evaluates the financial impact to the business while balancing this with adherence to regulatory guidelines and seeking consultation with legal and compliance. Takes initiative to identify opportunities and problem solve. Utilizes critical thinking skills to help analyze business issues , collaborat es with stakeholders to resolve problems, and gain s consensus on the best solution.
Issue Management - Researches and identifies opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies. Uses problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and resolve issues. Exhibits a proactive , analytical approach toward issue resolution. Involved in formulating policies or procedures through issue resolution by understanding the procedure or policy impacted, understanding the changes necessary to be made and the impact of those changes. Works closely with Compliance, account teams, bank compliance officers and technical areas of the business to understand how to incorporate new practices and/or inform large audiences of a change or explanation of an issue and the issue remediation.
Collaboration - Participates in team sessions designed to identify duplicate issues, reoccurrence and general repetitive trends. Collaborates with leads and managers to understand patterns and leads solutions to fit needs. Prioritizes efforts on critical initiatives. Participates in creating proactive solutions based on historical trends. Understands patterns and leads solutions to fit needs. Continually develops knowledge of the organization to complete tasks. Demonstrates outstanding Verbal and Written Communication skills when working with internal and external partners.
Reports to: Senior Manager, Consumer Restitution Management
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements : Normal office environment, Travel as required to support projects .

Minimum Qualifications :
One or more years experience in Business , Organizational Management, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Operations Management, or related field
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor ’s Degree in Business , Organizational Management, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Operations Management, or related field
Regulatory c ompliance t raining (UDAAP, REGZ, FCRA, ECOA) and root c ause a nalysis t raining .
Three or more years experience with Consumer restitution of regulatory issues .
Typical Starting Range:
$68,500.00 - $124,100.00Full Salary Range for position:
California:$78,800.00 - $155,200.00Colorado:$68,500.00 - $130,400.00New York:$75,300.00 - $155,200.00Washington:$71,900.00 - $142,800.00The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safety Time per calendar year at the beginning of each year and is prorated in the associate’s first year of employment.
Hired associates will be able to elect to purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
