Job summary

Greystar seeks a Superintendent to drive ground-up development projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while coordinating with contractors and internal teams. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and safety on site, reporting progress to leaders and owners.

The role demands 5+ years in similar construction, 3+ years leading teams and subcontractors, and strong communication and organizational skills to maintain project excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years on similar ground-up construction projects.
• Minimum 3 years leading a team and managing subcontractors.
• Excellent written and oral communication; capable of delegation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and new construction activities by reviewing plans and supervising contractors.
• Monitor project budget, review invoices, and ensure spending aligns with the budget.
• Develop and manage project timetable, adapt to delays, and advise on resolution.
• Supervise onsite work, enforce safety standards, and adjust staffing to stay on schedule.
• Provide regular progress updates to leaders and stakeholders with timely responses.
