Job summary

ISI Professional Services seeks up to three full-time Project Specialists – Level 3 to support the National Park Service Denver Service Center in providing design and pre-construction program support for secure facilities.

The Project Specialist will assist NPS Project Managers with cradle-to-grave project execution and technical construction administration support, including design and constructability reviews, contract administration, stakeholder coordination, and cost/schedule analyses.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Engineering/Architecture/Construction with 8+ years of relevant experience and registration.
• Master’s degree in ABET-accredited field with at least 6 years of experience.
• Doctorate in ABET-accredited field with at least 4 years of experience.
• Experience as Design Manager, Construction Management Representative, Owner’s Representative, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with cradle-to-grave project execution from planning through closeout.
• Provide technical design review, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination.
• Oversee design contractors, evaluate submittals for constructability and security needs.
• Coordinate with agencies and contractors, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Review estimates, price proposals, and change documentation for compliance.
• Prepare negotiation positions and maintain records of negotiations as required.
• Support site visits, meetings, and written findings for project closeout.
