Job Title: Remote Construction Customer Service Specialist (100% Work From Home)

Location:Remote from Latin America

Position Type:Full-time

Salary: $1,500 - 1,800 USD /month depending on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm Eastern Time. (Occasional tasks on Saturdays for emergencies)

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Specialist to join their team. As a leader in the home remodeling industry, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality residential bathroom renovations and exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer communications from the date the customer executes the bathroom remodel contract (pre-installation & installation) and handling post-installation customers communications (warranties and service calls). The candidate shall be able to keep customers informed of the progress of their project and manage customers expectations and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, while working collaboratively across departments to ensure a seamless customer journey and overall experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication: handle client expectations, inquiries, complaints, and concerns via phone and email maintaining a calm and empathetic demeanor in all situations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Deescalate tense situations, effectively managing conversations with frustrated or dissatisfied clients to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise with projects, production and administration departments to gather accurate information for scheduling installations and provide well-rounded responses and solutions to customers inquiries
  • Protocol Adherence: Ensure that responses and resolutions align with company policies, including administrative processes, construction timelines, and payment procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, issues, and resolutions in the company’s CRM system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify patterns in customer feedback and work with relevant departments to develop and implement strategies for improvement.

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in customer service management, preferably in the home remodeling or construction industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and project management software is a plus.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of administrative, construction, and payment protocols in a service-based business.
  • Education: High school diploma; additional certifications in customer service are a plus.
