Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Project Manager - Construction & Commissioning for a remote US-based position. You will lead site-level execution of construction and commissioning activities, focusing on schedule discipline, financial tracking, and coordinated delivery with project leaders, vendors, and site teams.

Responsibilities include managing scope changes, documentation flow, and risk mitigation to ensure successful client delivery. Domestic travel up to 30% is required; PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management or engineering, or equivalent field experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience within construction or commissioning.
• Project Management Certification preferred.
• Experience with hydropower technology.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically at least 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in defining site work strategy with project leaders.
• Track project financial and physical progress monthly.
• Update the site schedule weekly with actual vs. planned progress.
• Coordinate project team communications for effective execution.
• Identify scope management changes and oversee impacts.
• Ensure timely issuance of project site documentation to clients.
• Engage in risk mitigation and opportunity assessments.
• Prepare purchasing requests for subcontracting site works.
• Manage specific vendor packages at the site.
• Lead detailed mobilization planning and ensure resource readiness.
• Conduct site demobilization at the project’s end.
