Job summary

HDI Global Insurance Company in the United States is seeking a Casualty Construction Associate Underwriter. This remote role supports underwriting for new and renewal construction casualty accounts, handling submissions, policy processing, and servicing with accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The position collaborates with brokers and internal partners to maintain service standards, review documentation, and drive timely, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of insurance experience (commercial lines, casualty, construction, or E&S preferred).
• Entry-level candidates with strong administrative or analytical skills may be considered.
• Basic understanding of property & casualty insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting of new and renewal construction casualty accounts, including intake, review, and triage of submissions.
• Evaluate submissions for completeness and follow up on outstanding items (applications, loss runs, financials, project and subcontractor details).
• Assist with account clearance, pre-bind processing, and underwriting file setup in internal systems.
• Process policy transactions including new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Prepare binders, policies, and endorsements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with quoted and bound term.
