Job summary

UtilityProfit is seeking an experienced Events Manager for end-to-end conference planning and execution. You will lead strategy, budgeting, vendor coordination, on-site management, and post-event analysis to drive customer engagement and sign-ups.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in event management, strong project management, and the energy to engage attendees. This role collaborates with marketing and sales across a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• Fluency in verbal and written English.
• At least 3 years of experience managing conferences, trade shows, or similar programs.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing events from initial planning through post-event reporting.
• Wrequent travel to the U.S. for conferences (up to 3–4 per month).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute your assigned list of conferences from start to finish.
• Develop detailed project plans, production schedules, staffing plans, and event timelines.
• Be on-site to manage conference setups and support booth selling.
• Manage event budget and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate event logistics, including travel, accommodations, signage, marketing materials, and campaigns.
• Recommend other conference or event opportunities to reach acquisition goals.
• Manage pre-conference and post-conference follow-ups with attendees.
• Measure ROI of each conference and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and internal teams to align event programming with business objectives.
