Job summary

AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Condo Project Review Underwriter to join our remote team, focusing on condo project reviews for refinance and purchase transactions and ensuring adherence to major guidelines for efficient processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of condo mortgage underwriting experience required.
• Self starter and team player, eager to help department succeed.
• Excellent ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and strong technology skills.
• Impeccable problem solving abilities and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Initial review and subsequent condition review of condo projects in both refinance and purchase transactions.
• Ensure adherence to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and Non-QM condo guidelines.
• Answer questions and scenarios for Sales, Underwriting and Processing.
• Review title commitment for project consistency and gather necessary documents.
• Maintain acceptable turn times and document detailed notes in the system.
• Communicate with underwriter and processor regarding discrepancies.
