The role requires a strong portfolio in environment design and digital painting, proficiency in tools like Photoshop or Procreate, and excellent communication for remote collaboration with an international team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as a Concept Artist in gaming or entertainment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating environment design and digital painting.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Procreate or equivalent.
• Understanding of composition, color theory, lighting and perspective.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop visually compelling concept art for environments including landscapes, architecture, and props.
• Create sketches, mood boards and high-fidelity renderings to establish artistic direction.
• Collaborate with art directors and designers to realize game worlds.
• Research references to inform design decisions and maintain accuracy.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback to ensure cohesive art style.
